he can read?
all this time i thought video games were all he could read. turns out, he is literate. who knew?
dust bought a real book. it is upton sinclair's book titled oil. it is set in southern california, in the 1920's. it is the book that the movie "there will be blood" with daniel day lewis is based on. dustin was telling me yesterday while we were at the coffee shop that he loves how the book describes the process of drilling for oil and the character devlopment. so i sat there listening. he made it sound really interesting. i will probably read it when he is done.
now other gamers, do not be upset by the fact that he is reading a real book. he is still keeping those controls warm. the book only comes out on special occaisions.

Look at how thoughtfully he rubs his chin while reading... Are you sure this isn't posed? Were his parents getting worried or something?
